It is situated in the valley of Rákos, Szenes and the Kis-Homoród streams. It is 740-760 m above sea-level, at 11 and half miles from Székelyudvarhely. The climate of the region is reminding about the mountains around.

There are two natural wells with sulfuric acidulated water.
